I think this is a good deal on a beater rope. I'm gonna buy one. I'll save my sexy dry rope for actually wet conditions or very long routes. Did ya know that dry treatment adds weight? And now you can get double dry? And a dry rope doesn't last any longer than a non-dry? And now you can pay $250 or more for a 60m rope?

Sierra trading post is often a great source of beater ropes. Can always get a rope for <$100 with one of their 30 or 40% off coupons.
