Like the title says, anyone try them?
ClimbTech makes removable bolts and a bunch of rope access and rigging equipment. From what I have read on a few threads on MP, they are a good company that makes high-qualiuty stuff in the US. I am in the market for a set of ascenders. Theirs are $40 each, while Petzl's are $75. For the limited amount of jugging that I do, ClimbTech might be a great option.
Your thoughts?

Two friends recently bought these, mostly because of the price.
Pretty much the standard Petzl ascender. No complaints from either of my buds.

Wow, that removable bolt is more expensive than the ascender!

It looks like Cmac started a review on them. There is no write-up with pros and cons, but their "score" is posted. ClimbTech ascenders scored almost as high as the BD product. Looking at the score, I think it should have been a tie since the CT ascenders were scored one point lower for weight, but actually weight exactly the same as the BD ascenders. Whatever. I will be interested to see what Cmac has to say in his write-up on the product.
Based on everything I have read and the great price, I think I will be owning a pair of these really soon.

There are some subtle differences between the Petzl and the Climb Tech.
The spring on the Climb Tech is exposed and not on the Petzl.
The opening on the Petzl is wider then the Climb Tech which will make getting on and off the rope easier.
The rivet holding the trigger on the Petzl looks beefier?
