Does anyone know what this route is? I spotted these guys climbing it off Hwy 1 near Fort Ross (south of Salt Point). It was a mix of free/aid. Thanks!

Slate spire I believe is closer to Big Sur.

Not sure where this is, but from the looks of it I would guess it is a piece of and old island arc that got sutured to the continental plate.

Slate's Spire has in its route description what I would like to see more of in my climbing topos:




There is a little sandy spot on the beach that is good for setting up your hibachi.
