I'm in Thousand Oaks, Southern California and am looking for partners looking to get out to yosemite or zion before the cold & wet moves in for real. Give me a buzz back if you can get away for something.

What specific routes / walls are you interested in climbing, what's your past experience, and what days do you or can you get off? That should help

I have an interest in Leaning Tower, but not in the frigid cold.
...checking to see if Kings Canyon gates have closed for the season...

hey dave, glad to hear you are kicking it too. i plan to do el cap next month, but i am really looking for solid A3 leaders, or somebody that can be a grunt. i figure you are too old to fill the grunt category. i have a couple of guys interested, but not yet committed, which is why i responded to your inquiry. take care, steve

Hmm. I did the Column with some guy who ate muchrooms on dinner ledge. Bounced around for hours on the fixed lines over the Kor roof. Never would let us have a go. Can't remember his name. Dave something. Chain smoker. He ought to pm me if he chances to read this. It's been some 30+ years. Last I heard he was some hollywood movie star. - Bob
