Looking for one of the quiet, compact ones for our Smith Rock trip Oct. 5-14th. Smaller is better.

Sunbelt Rentals has them for a couple of hundred for two weeks, but we would rather give our money to climbers!

Thanks, Erik

If I did I'd be generating Hondas and selling 'em so I could pay more taxes.

Hahahahaha

Sorry I couldn't resist
I'm not in LA anymore and
I don't have a generator

But if I did, I'd make it available to you gratis

That's a great deal from Cosmic. The EU3000 is
the quietest of the entire Honda line. And runs
many hours on a tank of gas.

What will you be running? I have a Goal Zero 120w solar set up with two large power packs. Easily runs lights, laptops and other electronics. I'm located in Burbank.

Thanks for the offers! Just for keeping the deep-cycle trailer battery charged and watching some movies on the lap-top.

I don't think we can get away, Cosmic - this weekend is Facelift, and we are leaving next Thursday night.

Thanks David Kos and Batrock! I will send you messages.

Are you running 12 volt batteries or 2 six volts ? I run the microwave & coffee maker off the 2 six volts w/o starting the motor. Check it out if you haven't, way more Amp hours, more than double the 12 volt. Laptops and lights, etc shouldn't be a problem, also look for LED , they Kick Ass over the old fluorescents and halogens.
PS ; I also run a HUGE stereo amp much to the dislike of the neighbours w/o killing the batteries. You can also jump the vehicle battery with the trailer battery if needed.

We don't have an inverter, just running off the single 12-volt with 12-volt lighting. Need some more juice for the lap-top, speakers and minimal lighting. We can recharge the 12-volt every few days with the car, just lacking in the AC department.

I have had bad luck with inverters on multiple days killing the single 12-volt, and have not had the time/money to do the series set-up.

Thanks for all of your ideas, suggestions and offers.

Erik

Edit: Just made a deal with Batrock! Thanks, Man!
