Surely folks here have a few RURP wall anchor photos that can out-do these...

EDIT: these are stolen from a reddit thread that stole them from a mtn project page.

The only bad anchor is your last anchor.

The one with the fixed cams with broken triggers, rusty angles, and faded webbing stuffed in a horizontal I recognize from the second pitch of Easy Overhang at the Gunks. That was my first multi pitch lead and I was feeling a little sketched out on the exposed ledge right there. I was too scared to just gun it the last twenty feet to the top so I used that anchor (the webbing was way more faded, what was I thinking?) to belay my wife up to me so I could be off the lead for a while to calm down. The last time I was there I heard it had been removed or replaced.

If you've been here a while, my apologies for pulling these out again.

Held several biiiig sliders and rap bail:

On a different route, I figured out how to back this up:

We passed on this pin backing up a stump:

In favor of a sling draped over a sloper chockstone not really chocked in:

Down not out is always the mantra.

Those canyon emerging anchors are nuts, are those bags of sand?

I always like the bolts you could pull out and check for rust then slide back in the hole. Awesome confidence builder or at least a damn good motivator to make the next move.

Is that backed up stump over somewhere that's sunny and nice in the early fall and mid spring (no need to mention the exact location)? If so I think I know where it its and it was solid when put in ;)
