to Russ walling (the fish) Susan peplow and of course The Todd!
you have made me feel welcome, given me a taste of what joshua tree has to offer in terms of climbing, put me up for a couple nights sleep and just generally been amazingly friendly people!
i have been awe struck by how much courtesy you have all shown me while i have been around and went beyond all my expectations for what i had hoped or expected to happen, with you all going out of your way to sort me out.
thank you guys, and if i get chance before i leave i'll be back!!!
and if you come across the pond tot he uk, 9weather permitting) i'll take you climbing and extend to you the same level of courtesy as you have shown me!
(but i'll also be sending you some UK based treats)
love, andy xxx

Todd and his family rolled out the red carpet for Mimi and I when we came down for Birdfest even though we had never met so I heartily second your sentiments.
That's why he is the mayor of JT and a prince of a man!

+1 for Todd - he came down to the Saloon to hang with us the last time we were there. Some other guys from the Taco just happened to be there, so it turned in to a pretty good gab fest.
RLF deserves a mention too, in the "Awesome people of Josh" list. Getting to camp at the Ranch our last trip made life a hell of a lot easier.

Plus 1 for the kindness of strangers.
This is the kind of thing I like seeing on page 1 - the intersection of climbing related and warm and fuzzy.

Andy my friend;...glad we had an opportunity to "sort you out"....but I don't think that is possible;.........you can't sit still long enough to be sorted out.....we tried. Way impressed with Andy's ability to climb after a 48 hour Las Vegas bender and the drive to Joshua Tree on a couple hours of sleep.......then hop on this;......Look forward to more next trip to the high desert;...you have lots of friends here after only a couple days stay;.....fantastic. See you again, and hopefully soon...
Andy on Red Bull, beer, and a couple hours of sleep.......good on ya, Lad..
