Does anyone here know of any climbing or vertical cliffs in the Sierra national forest south of yosemite?

Tollhouse Rock, Dogma Dome, Courtright reservoir come to mind ... the "Southern Sierra Rock Climbing: Sequoia/Kings Canyon" guidebook has info (though dated).

You sound like you're looking for something to jump off?

Patterson Bluff (home of the above mentioned "Balch Camp Flake") might do, and it is possible to drive (4wd) to the top. But you will land in a forest of poison oak...
