It was Harry Truman who had a soft spot in his head when he recognized Israel in 1949. If FDR hadn't died suddenly in April 1945, you know Israel would have never been misbegotten. Would have saved a lot of US tax payers' money in the long run, too! In 5 or 10 years when memories of the Holocaust fade away (like our collective memories of the Boer War), Israel will lose its raison d'etre and simply disintegrate for lack of a reason to exist.

Israel wants peace with its neighbors. Israel has signed, and honored, several peace-deals with its neighbors. Muslims and Arabs can live and pray, and vote, in Israel freely and openly. 16% of the population of Israel is Muslim. Israel has had nuclear weapons for decades but has never used them against its enemies.
