Not exactly something that would be popular on a climber's web site.

Hard not to anthropomorphise, as a climber with the falling sheep.
And as a human with the one left behind.

Felt alot like distress and anxiety for his/her missing partner?

Those look like domestic sheep, not mountain sheep.

That was really sad to watch. Especially when the other one was frantically getting down to see what was wrong.

It was pretty sad to watch the survivor go down to try and figure out what happened. It clearly knew it was something bad.

hey there say, all...

i had heard of a link, story, as to this this...
sounded sad.. ohmy now, it is sadder than i thought... :O

the sheepbuddy, left behind, shows that there is more to
critters and their comforts, etc, than folks really think about it...

my buddies, with their horses, said many times if a horse gets seperated from the others, even if it is not hurt, the buddy-horses get very concerned and want to find it, when it calls...

thanks for sharing though--good lessons, to be learned, perhaps...

Are you seriously that dense to not realize these are domestic sheep and not a wild species like big horn sheep?
That was really sad.
