Got most of our stuff up there, we may in fact blast tomorrow. Lots of schlepping and repairing and glueing and Plast-Dipping and patching mostly done.

WHEN will you people learn to not waste your money on that colossal piece of junk the Pro-Traxion and get a Kong Block-Roll instead? Yet another team forced down by Pro-Trax failure. Email me if you need a Kong.

So was this another case of inproper use or did the device actually fail as designed?

Hey Tom,

Thanks for pics and stories. They do so much to keep those of us who are trapped at work alive and dreaming. Must have been exciting to be in the valley on Sunday.

Cheers,

Well, if you left the "kitchen sink" behind then the Pro-Traxion would be just fine, haa haa

We were not using a Pro-Trax, but in fact a Kong Block Roll. Evidently a 9.2 dynamic rope shrinks a bit when weighted by a full rope length haul enough to not catch in the Kong. We switched ropes and began using a retired 11mm dynamic to haul. worked perfectly.
