What is the Pete show doing up there anyway? Huge amount of gear. Seems odd to be perched right at eagles ledge with all that stuff.

Tom's remarks at the end of his report lead me to tell you about my Uncle Jim, age 91, going to his Battle of Midway reunion yesterday and today in Florida. He was on the USS Portland, which took a hit after Midway, busted up his back and hobbled all these years. He said they were down to 7 men this year. The most soft spoken nicest guy, proud to know him. Those men are badass, as my Mom would say 'God bless 'em'.
Driving to Mom's 85th B-day this weekend. Her and Jimmy are the last of their generation.
