Just got my schedule for the summer and I've been realizing that working weekends AND weekdays can really cut into climbing time.
For example, this month is screwed! The benefit is that I get to cover my living expenses. Downside...I'm losing my rock sense!
Thus...are there any people who climb on odd days within the week?
I guess I'm used to all my climbing crew being 'respectable' 9-5ers...or at least a 5 day a week folk.
I don't know anyone who has the odd Tuesday or Thursday in primetime summer to range out to the high places.
So folks, who are the odd days crew around these parts? I have two new climbing shirts to test...they match my rope!
Cheers

That's why I resorted to soloing and free-soloing. No partners during the week.

Those are the best days to hit popular spots.
Look how crowded this obscure spot is on a Tuesday in mid-July:
There are so many unemployed and off-for-the summer climbers, you'll have no problem finding partners. Shirts or no shirts.

Wait you said odd days of the week then you said tuesday and thursday.
Tuesday and Thursday are even days of the week. I think so anyways.

Just mulling on the fact that I STILL need climbing in my life, and at this point to somehow carve climbing time into my life one way or another...

weekdays are the best days! Finding partners can be hard, but once you have it sorted, then quiet roads, quiet crags, empty parking lots...

I seem to mostly climb Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. There's a lot of desperate non-working climbers during week days.
