Hi all, I was reading some back issue climbing magazines and that mentioned Alex Hubers ascent of El Corazon. It mentioned that there were 7 or 8 free routes up el-cap. I can only think of a few of them. If someone could fill me in on the names and some details of the others I would be much obliged.

I'm not one to quibble, but Clint says Passage to Freedom isn't a free route.
...and reading more about it, it's only 7 pitches. I assume the OP meant routes (and variations) that summit?

It is more of a free route than El Nino is! I was wondering how many of the routes would already be posted when I clicked the "post".

All I know is what I read. Except for the East Butt. Yahoo, I free climbed El Cap!

Well, Passage hasn't been done as a full top out climb. But if you went up the nose then it would be. Who will have already posted this when I press that???

New Jersey Turnpike went free two years ago, except for one or two pitches.
Alot of the routes mentioned are link-ups. Freerider is Salathe, with a diversion left to Excalibur, to avoid the Salathe Roof. Golden Gate is Salathe to the Spire, then up and right on the Heart Route. El Corazon is Salathe to Albatross to Son of Heart to Heart.
