Does anyone know what the story is with the supposed parking and approach from the East of Lover's Leap? Where exactly do you park? Is it a clear trail? Just curious for the times I can't get a spot in camp. Thanks!

You have to park at the Strawberry lodge and walk in or at the parking lot, it's 5 bucks and the campground is really nice...

Although I have never parked there, my old topo guide says
"If coming from South Lake Tahoe, an alternate east parking lot offers fast acess to the East Wall. Access this lot from a dirt road that is only recommended for high clearance vehicles" Not sure if this parking area is still active or not?

Ok. That explains why there's only little mention of this elusive alternate approach. I'll stick with the status quo. Thanks!

I could tell ya', but then I'd have to kill ya.
It's pretty easy to find with eyes wide open.
