As some of you know, I have been getting into aid climbing, and we have had some lively posts regarding big wallin' and such. Good info and amusing reads!
While nothing beats getting out there and doing it, it's fun to see peoples ideas and opinions.
So my question of the week would be; How do you tame your pigs? I'm interested in opinions about hauling systems, from a 1:1 to Chongo's aider ratchet system.
Do you have any tricks that you use for lowering out? I have seen opinions from using the left over rope to lower out, to using a retrivable line.
How about rigging for two pigs side by side, or docking, any tips or tricks?
Thanks in advance for the posts, and enjoy!

Good rule Mike!
By that, I would guess that you mean to pick a route that is close to vertical...
Which brings up a dumb question actually. Is there any right way to haul on slabs, or is it just about dragging it up the rock and hoping it's packed right?

I'm a big advocate of 2 to 1 hauling but I'm also starting to lean towards Mike's opinion also.
