Yesterday I launched a newly re-designed ClimbingWeather.com! We try to do some design updating about once per year and that time has rolled around again. Let us know what you think - feedback is always appreciated!

www.climbingweather.com

We also (finally) added some social media sharing features to the area pages. Facebook and Google's new +1 to help you tell friends about upcoming forecasts, or spread the word about the website.

Special thanks to Ethan Geyer at www.thecraftedpixel.com for this stellar design. Awesome work!

On a final note, we're going to be looking for sponsors in the coming months to help support ClimbingWeather.com. If you think you might know somebody in the climbing/outdoor industry that would like to be involved as a sponsor, let me know!

Thanks always for your support!

This is rad - if you could get it as an "app" for smartphones, it would prove even more useful. Thanks for the hard work!

You gotta love scrolling through the California locations right now.
Scrolled through the whole list and only icons I saw were big suns with a tiny cloud :-)

btw... nice site!

When's Canada gonna be added? We all know that climbing in the states is just training for Canada.

:(

no six digit code arrived in my vtext to get mobile alerts.

was super excited to see that feature, btw. I can often get txt where I can't get data piped, so last minute forecast on Friday is sweet! good idea!

@NeeDlzdos International weather coming up soon, Canada will be first

@Mungeclimber Sorry about that - had a few issues with the numbers getting filtered out of text messages by Verizon and maybe others. I activated your sms forecasts, but let me know if they aren't coming through correctly. I'm going to hunt down a Verizon phone and see what is going on!

@Jaybro Sweet! I think loading up all favorite areas in one place is key!

@The Alpine Looking for a WordPress plugin then? Might be something I can work out - seems like there would be a decent demand for that.
