Does anyone have beta on this route? I heard something about a 300' A5 pitch, but that didn't sound right. Thanks.

I know of few people who climb on the 9 o'clock wall...It has a tendency to be loose low angle and scary!

True.... giant ass pitch. Bob the Aid Man used all kinds of wacked stuff up there... bottle cap heads, lead heads, prussik on a lizard....
Heads and make a will before you go.

Hey Russ,
Yeah I heard there was all kinds of shenangens going on... forks, swedged pennies, spoons..... stolen from the Cafe, tied of short.
You're right Fish.... that route is obscure, I've glassed it though.
Bob had pet rattle snakes that he carried around. I heard he was REALLY pissed off at the park service.... because after being incarcerated.... his pets died.
What happened to Bob anyway? I heard he hung himself. Is that true?
By the way, do you still make that HUGE hook? My buddy Brian wants to purchase one from you.
I was thinking of doing Time Machine in a push last year with Bullwinkle and Cedar Wright..... do you think that would have been a good idea?? Haaa haa haa ha. Dead for sure!!!!
Cheers, Ammon

One thing I know about this route is that there were no bolts used on the first ascent. I guess that's why the 300' pitch. Supposedly our man aid man Bob tied his ropes together to link the next good natural belay to avoid drilling. I say, go get it!
give me the beta when you're done.

Not true as far as far as I know. I made him some gear for a giant trip to some snowy hell.... north pole.... Baffin... who knows. Anyway, he does the trip solo, all the ice melts out, (or freezes up) misses his ride back to the world.... everyone thought he was dead.... shows up like a month or more overdue all haggard and beat up.... BAD ASSSSSSS!!!!! I think one of the climbing rags did a news thing on him... probably 18 months ago... his real name is Bob Shonerd. Look it up....

^ 10 years later, did a search for Bob (don't know either of these guys below personally).
Here's a video of Bob Shonerd and Will Oxx climbing Matterhorn Peak, July 2011:
