I'm off next Wednsday for five plus weeks of exploring and, with a little luck, new routing in Northern Iran and Eastern Tajikistan. TR, with pics, to follow after I return in July. Ciao!

Wow, they are going to see this old biblical looking dude climbing around on their cliffs and think the Christians are attacking! Good luck Donini, we can't wait for pics, so please find some good internet over there and post up!

Have fun! Don't take any photos in border regions, or of military installations. If you run into problems, tell them you're a friend of the FatTrad. They're sure to be impressed.

Jim

Talk to Majid from this forum as he's leaving Friday for Iran too if you need any information about Iran.

He knows Iran like the back of his hand .....

Mr D., Have a great time! I trust you'll see the real scene and meet the good people free of political and media distortion.

I was hoping the AAC exchange with Iran would work out. But I guess that is not to be.

Way to go, Jim. Have a great time and take lot's of pics and post them here. It will keep us here in the peanut gallery a little more tame.

Spider, this is the AAC/Iran exchange. I'm going on from there to Eastern Tajikistan a place my host, Bo White, refers to as Utah on steroids- sounds like quite a package, hope I can handle it.
