I just got a new toy. I think I'll play with it as a fixie for a bit until I get motivated enough to build it up the rest of the way.
Santa Cruz is blowing these out right now. If you want a stiff, fast climbing machine, check it out.

Does it have horizontal drop-outs?
If it does, you're in business, as far as fixed-gear goes.

The frame comes with horizontal and vertical dropouts, swapable. Real slick, very practicle idea for their mtn bike frames, i.e. replace the dropout instead of even trying to fix your derailer hanger.

They're selling F&F only, or what? How much?
With the EVO hub, horizontal dropouts aren't even necessary any more.

Not making them anymore, selling too many mtn. bikes.

$599 for the frame, easton carbon fork and seat post.

Hey Chaz,
You can still do a fixie even without horizontal dropouts. We did it all the time back in the day. they are nice tho.
