My best friend jesus was highly illegal ..... that's why they hung him. Check it out with the Pharisees and the Sadducees, the leaders of the people, the religious ones that had it all together, the culprits.

Art illegal ? Check out history. How many of the wrong doers......weren't.
jess sayin'. :DD

OBTW....anyone heard of the fairly new company called us vs. them ?

Some might say that the LEB's posts to SuperTopo are a form of graffiti.

Louis: Victorian sensibilities are so hot right now.

Thanks for doing your part to knock some forward-thinking heads back into the repressive era.

Cragman, not all tag artists are. Not all pastors are. We live to support others. Greatest commandment is Love God and Love your neighbor as yourself. Judging is God's job.

I'm not just spraying. I know from personal experience it's hard to love everyone around you. Sometimes it's even hard to love your relatives and friends. But ain't that what it's about. Jess sayin'. Welcome imput.

Edit: Humble was a word jesus loved. He also appreciated that quality in others. Don't think he minds having a lower case j for his name.

"Problem with this thread is things are being misconstrued.

The OP clearly shows illegal graffiti, while many here are posting LEGAL artwork.

C'mon, stay on the OP"

This is my thread and there are no rules!

Oh, and thanks for the doggie idea.

So cute. :)

Graffiti isn't exactly a new phenomenon. For example, lots has been found in the excavated ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, buried in 79 CE.

Personally, I am thankful for a culture thread regardless of the banter - way better than the usual politard/religiot stuff!

Thanks The Larry!

Depends partly on the message and the venue. Anything on rocks in general is pretty lame at best. On the other hand I'm all for the "civil disobedience" of say, Keith Haring.
Did he in any way diminish the New York subway experience?

Gotta point out that it can have a place on rock, too...
