They scrape all the good snow off the runs.
They chop up the slope with their sitzmarks everywhere.
They don't move forward in the lift lines.
They screw up all the jump landings.
They do not contribute to fine quality moguls at all.
To summarize, they are useless!!
I'm going to Alta where they are not allowed. They should be banned from all but their stupid terrain parks.

Rockjox, you are an idiot. I would love to see you in the skintrack someday so I could push you right out of it.
You and the other clowns attempting this argument should take a look at yourselves. I grew up in the greatest ski area in the USA and have never lived in a place that doesn't have world class skiing. In my 22 years as a skier, I've heard your bullshit observations spouted from all kinds of folks, and found one unifying factor: they are terrible skiers looking for a way to validate their lack of skill. They feel inadequate and snowboarders are an easy target.
FACT: You don't hear skilled skiers knocking snowboarders. That is all.

Those bastards!! I don't ski the bumps anymore anyhow. To hard on the body. Boarders do cut up the slopes badly but I think that is mostly due to their inexperience overall. Guys I ski with that board tear it up just fine and follow the fall line, thats the key to it all.
Got to get used to the boarders, they are in the majority pretty much anywhere you go nowadays. I usually only ski the pow, so its a battle royale to see who gets to it first.
Play the hand you are given, and RULE the fawkin mountain!

Next time you strap on a pair of fat pow skis- pay homage to the snowboarder.
Next time you drop a cliff and back slap the snow before popping up and saying "I Totally stomped it"- pay homage to the boarder that actually lands things.
Next time there's a bunch of unskilled noob boarders wrecking everything- grow a pair and spend your day on double and triple black terrain- the boarders there know what they are doing (at kirkwood anyway).
Next time you see a boarder lay down a deep effortless carve, tweek out a big method, spin 180 up a vertical pow drift, or wall ride a wind lip- try not to be too jealous.
However- when we are postholing to get to the top of the ridge and you skin by- feel free to laugh and point.
Finally- our chronic is far superior. :)

Hilarious film on AT above (Silver's link). I went through the same process myself, and still feel a little guilty when I'm ripping down the slopes on the AT bindings. But I would still sometimes take my tele skis for the big powder days at Wolf Creek pass.
But all in all, AT was the way to go at Wolf Creek. Easy to hike/skin up from the lifts to get to the good stuff.

Nice one snowhazed... but you won't find the folks ripping on snowboarders sending the goods. Their opinions are formed while hanging out in lame terrain with the rest of the wankers. No wonder they think all snowboarders suck.

Complaining about snowboarders at a resort is like complaining about sportclimbers at a climbing gym.
Go do some real skiing.

Ha! Teleskiers are more often the most feeble looking gapers on the hill. Rarely do you see someone doing it well, and I should know, I was one of those feeble gapers for over a decade. And yes, snowboarding saved skiing, no question about it!
