Did not fit so well in the tooth brush pocket of my Fauxpimp tipdip digicepticle.
Alternating bristle length was an advantage on heavily-caked August lightning surgical strikes. Found it difficult to color match brush and beanie, but maybe that's just me.
Ergonomically speaking, this is a good value, (plus Oral B has purchased adverts on the home page).
On desperate free solos this toothbrush really shines... and that really sucks cuz those trade route crimpers are greasy enuff already, like, dude, you know what i mean?
They sell these at Longs' and Walgreenmart but REI is too lame to be hip to them (the toothbrushes, dude).
Well, that's about it, jounalistically speaking....as it were...whatever...
Buttom Line: this tooth brush works...for teeth and the rad sends...but is knott as comfortable when pimping crimps as if one would wrap a couple a wraps of duct tape around the handle...3 stars ***

I find the Oral-B is too soft for removing the gunk on the holds at Stony Point. Also, the rubber grip handle, while fine when in use, doesn't slide in and out of the holster smoothly.
I prefer my 1987 Colgate straight & stiff model.

The Oral B is far to soft and short lived. It also has an unnecessarily complex and to fragile a handle.
I'd recommend a more traditional approach.
It has the added advantage of quickly removing weeks or even months worth of plaque quickly and efficiently thus eliminating the need to carry a tooth brush in the field at all.
You won't even need toothpaste.

They come in brass, stainless steel or carbon steel.
I'd recommend stainless for long lived expeditionary use.
Brass is best for craging weekends and the occasional wall.
The sharper carbon steel should be reserved for only the hardened professional. They also tend to rust in an acid environment and a caustic oral environment prolongs their usefulness.

Forget the kids stuff-Just like shoes for friction, it's all surface area. GO BIG. Little harsh on gums and enamel and dentin but you will be miles ahead on granite. Probably a little hard on the smiles but what the heck, your tough. Right? Guaranteed to cut down on your dental bills.
