Hey
Heading down to Joshua tree with some partners. Anyone going to be around? We are arriving late Sunday night and then leaving Wednesday night. Maybe a little fire and lies swapping if anyone is going to be around?

Hmmm, trying to figure out what you meant by the first part..but half way through a ten page paper on El Nino effects on Tropical Meteorology and my brain is fried.
And I guess that I can agree only to stick to the truth in all campfire stories..

If we get one at HV you can definitely have it. The last couple trips (last season) we have been in Ryan of further out but some other friends will be there today and perhaps they will score at HV.

Thanks for the offer.. Sounds like he really knows his stuff on the Ocean Side of things. I was writing more about what effects these fluctuations in SST have on the Western North Pacific Tropical Cyclone Environment.
And as for cars for the campsite handoff, We are taking one of those subarus that hauls ass but looks like an outback sport (WRX maybe). Anyway, silver subaru and there is another buddy of mine that is going to leave a not on the Hidden Valley CG signboard since he is heading down there today. I will leave that note up and you can meet up with us that day or if you want I can call you one of the nights when we are gorging ourselves on Thai food.
