Buenas tardes,
I'm going to be ebaying some of my old gear and I guess I'm looking for suggestions on how to price it?
I'm selling pretty much a triple set of cams from blue TCU up to and including a #5 camalot. All of it has been used and placed, and I bet at least 50% of it has taken good, hard falls. That said, there is not a single piece of gear that I would not go out and take a whip on tomorrow. In other words, none of it is janky crap.
I've got plenty of newer gear and I don't need a desert rack right now is the reason I'm selling. Just looking for a good "formula" from those who have sold gear before. This is my first time.
...And no, none of it is stolen...except the red tcu, but that guy was a dick anyway ;)

x*y(tx/2)+U/13=z
where x is the price you paid, t is number of times you fell on it, y is how many climbs you took it on, and U is the number of climbs you have done. Z is the selling price.

Your ad is fine the way it is. The real market value will take care of itself. Believe me, there's plenty of people that know what that's worth and are willing to pay for it. You may possible have gotten more by selling each piece individually, but the hassle with keeping track of and shipping each piece separately isn't worth the time to some sellers. That's up to you.
You just got selling jitters, it'll be fine.

Looks like some goods in the pics.
But the shipping charge of $40 is RETARDED.
You can get all that in a LARGE FLAT RATE box from USPS for $15. They give you the box even.

I've had good luck grouping them by brand and by size, in groups of 2, 3, or 4. I think there are a lot of people looking to go 2 or 3 deep on their rack in certain brands/sizes.
Seem to be a lot of buyers ready to pay $15-20 for well used cams, and $25-35 for the seldom placed. More for the big ones. I also post a detailed closeup of each cam's lobes.
A lot more buyers willing to spend $50-100 for a couple than ready to fork out $500 for a bunch.
Having said that, your ad looks great... priced about right... just sit back and see what happens. You can always sell them differently if it doesn't move. On anyone's "Watch List" yet?

$40 was a guess...I've not done this before.
If it ends up being less, I'll refund the difference.
