Stallone has been trying to put together a movie about Edgar Allan Poe.

This says that he wants Robert Downey to play Poe.

He would probably be a fine choice.

But I also wouldn't mind seeing these two characters playing Poe!

I agree.

Too bad Nicholson and Hopkins are waaaay past 40, the age that Poe died.
That would take too much make-up!

Werner, of course! John Wilkes Booth can be the understudy- Poe would understand that.
