On September 25 of this year, Lisa and I celebrated her birthday by making a brisk ascent of Mount Guyot’s southeast ridge.
Once on the summit, we engaged a fine scrambling tour of the craggy ridgeline encircling the mountain’s native cirque,
Culminating at Peak 12, 668’, affording us both a spectacular and aerial position from which to survey Guyot’s south face.

You know the routine; the agony of delay, as I’ll be along shortly and again over the next few days to keep this thing rolling……and floating.

True Hooblie, it’s pretty amazing you can drive right up next to the peak.
Cuts down considerably on forested hours of ingress/egress.
There came a time however, to go it on foot, very little of it below treeline:

Okay then, standing stock up right on the ridge proper, poised for blast off …
(one need only imagine she’s wearing genuine aviatrix goggles, perhaps a flagging neck scarf, to complete the desired effect)

A couple surefire situations known to make this woman go fast:
One,
Put a number on her and position her abreast of the competition.
…or
Two,
Keep that little red line in the picture just out in front of her a fair ‘ways …
