There is nothing like seeing the face of a tourist spotting a naked unharnessed man scream out over Yosemite valley at 8:30 am at the top of lost arrow spire. They must have been hiking up the falls trail since around 6 am to see this?! B.e.a.utiful! ;D

No, i am from boulder, co. but i travel to moab, and yosemite as regularly as i am in boulder.

Dean revealed there is a simple technique for grabbing the line on a fall, so like 1% risk of dying. I would have taken paintball pot-shots at the naked guy while he's sending.

Dear Lord....ho man..... dude has to have testicles the size of a small VW to do that, surprised he's not tripping on them. I was sweating for him as I watched that line shaking...holy smokes! WOOT! Seriously? Less than 1% chance of dying? I don't see people doing much...errr, I mean, any of this on that length of line. I might be running in the wrong circles though. I've seen the Monkey walked without a leash and a few other shorter ones.

ps, a small point of order Biotech: for Dean, saying a 1% chance of dying probably translates to close to 99% to all of us non-superhumans out here. Dean is light, super strong, talented with good balance, and tough as nails. Whereas most of the rest of us......LOL!

I can't believe the haters here. Do only the greatest accomplishments get to post their trip reports.
I get gripped even on the Tyrolean! So what if he had a good chance of grabbing the line. I wouldn't want to be naked, in the middle of that slackline, holding the cord, and then what?! Not everyone has 5.13 guns!
Nice one. I wonder what they'd charge you with if the ranger saw it and got upset. I hope not some stupid sex crime offense! That would be hard to explain to future employers!

I know Andy is a SUPER talented slacker, and that is bold (the LA solo part)
But I gotta say, the naked part and the way these fellers promote themselves here on ST has a whiff of desperation to it. (desperation to one-up somehow and get attention)
that's what makes it spam IMO.
But, having said that, good on you for getting out there and kicking ass, having a great time and pushing your limits. Very impressive.

That video is just as boring as every other slackline video ever made. Granted, it must be super cool to walk the arrow highline. Its just a bummer it always looks so ghey on the videos.
