Does anyone know when people started to use the poop tube ( PVC )? How was it BITD? Does anyone have a picture of a poop tube? Thanks a lot!

The poop tube is over rated. I suscribe to the Russ Walling method.....just tie off the pant legs in your cargo pants and let 'er rip.

I published the first article documenting the poop tube concept for Climbing Magazine, back in the early 90's (?). But the idea had been around sometime before that, I think it came from backpackers prior to wall climber's adopting the idea of cleaning up one's own sh#t.
