Say you have been out of climbing for a while, recovering, but you are all healed up and the doctor gives you permission to get back out there.

You have three weeks before you have to go back to work.

Where do you go to get back in shape in the most efficient and interesting manner?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Cheers!

I would spend 1/2 to 3/4 of available time in a climbing gym, the rest doing outdoor routes I was familiar with.

The New in West Virginia. That place has everything crack, face, and steep sport. That place will build the fitness.

Jeez, the Tilted World ain't bad, but it's kinda limited.

What does 'in shape' mean to you?

All other considerations aside, I think I'd probably look at Railay, but maybe not this time of year.

Do you know anyone in SLC? I agree that you should combine gym time with outdoor climbing. SLC has a good gym and easily accessible trad and sport that is climbable this time of year.
