I was in Adana, Izmir and Balakashir Turkey while performing in a 20 country tour with my band in '94. We were playing for the troops, on the DOD circuit!

Yeah, Alanya and Antalya, must have been in 96 or 97, didn't climb much.

STFU dude! that was my sister!
Iīve also been there. No climbing, lots of drinking, lotīs of dancing. Nice place! You should try to get out to one of the greek isles as well. And for gods sake, rent a moped! Itīs by far the most exiting way to travel through turkish traffic. And remember, whenever your at an intersection, you have to yield to whoever honks first. So itīs a good idea to stay at hotel thatīs not right by an intersection. Seriously, had I been sober I would not have slept for a week. Have a fun trip

well, she was from linkoping, not gothenburg.

very true about the scooters, riding a scooter in turkish traffic can be pretty exciting.

a cool place to visit if you rent a car for a couple of days is pamukkale, it's kinda like a vertical mono lake with amazing calcium carbonate falls forming pools with hot water. but the water certainly doesn't feel as icky as mono lake :)http://www.bitez.net/turkey/pamukkale/
