The Tioga Pass opened Saturday. In other words, the BEST DAY OF THE YEAR! I never miss it. Took tons of pics, here's a sampling of how the high country of Tuolumne is looking. More to come. It was bliss up there.

Hey Sean, great meeting you! Will post part 2 tomorrow to include those amazing wolves. We ended up coming back there to sleep after the Mobil, saw you guys get an early start.

Today (Sunday) saw A LOT more climbers. Parties on West Crack, South Crack, Zee Tree, etc. Saturday was pretty empty. Just us, Sean/Patrick and Ed/Jaybro. Was cool having the place to ourselves.

Here's a preview of part 2...including this amazing Arctic wolf-hybrid pack we all camped with:

The Meadows are SO under snow and water. But it's melting fast. Was crazy to watch it. Will post more pics in a part 2 thread. Really, so much water and sights I haven't seen on opening weekends. More to come...here's a taste.

Really nice pictures Fluoride. Lookin good up there. Based on Tom Evans report down in The Valley and the long range forecast it looks like the melt off could be pretty fast up there. Which means even more fun climbing. Only drawback could be a big Mosquito year but lets hope not.. Yay for T Meadows.

Wow! Great post! Is there any better place in the world? Amazing. And are there two more cool looking climbing dudes than those two shaded masters. ;)

After the worst spring EVER in the PNW. I'm so jealous.
