I just put a GOld Wall TR here

Wondering if the route has been freed? I think Dean freed the first pitch... which is the only really hard one. But was wondering if anyone came back and freed the whole thing in a day?

Nice Chris!

That is a really cool wall no doubt, all of that flare in the beginning kept us in the aiders.

Great pics, one of a kind view for sure.

Of note, the 4th pitch (original route) off of Tron ledge is pretty serious for 25+ feet. Multiple hooks to C3 micro nuts.

Thanks for the TR!

We saw some guys from New Zealand free the first pitch a few weeks ago.

They let us climb through while they were working it which was very cool.

I thought the route was pretty burly.

Forgot to add, on the way back home stopped at the Priest Station Cafe. Cheeseburger + sweet potato fries + Sierra Nevada = perfect end to yosemite trip.

Perfect conditions this time of year for dinner on the deck. Also, they now have cabins for $89 a night. Check em out
