Check out the shot in the realtor ad about halfway down. That's one of your Crest Jewel shots, if I'm not mistaken. Just a heads up, in case you didn't authorize it.

Cool! The Realtor was my climbing partner for Crest Jewel (second ascent of the Direct) and that's him in the picture! Least I could do.

Thanks Karl, approach shoes sounds like the ticket for the arches, every-time I've had ambitions of North Dome my feet are worked, and haven't made it up there yet.

Real nice picture for sure! I checked Crest Jewel out quite a bit while on the South Face route and hope to get up there. Also, I'm glad people are watching and noticing who took photos and how they are used. I was once in a gift store in some fru fru place and looked at a box of cards of photos by Galen Rowell, after he had passed. Noticed that the picture was looking west in the valley with El Cap on the right and the heart showing! I took a double take and relized that someone working for mountain light or a subsidery had probably not noticed that the slide was backwards!! I called and they didn't believe me at first. Don't know what happend after but Thanks you all for checking photos. Sometimes its all we got!

That is the mighty Lummox. Great guy, great drummer. If you need to buy a house in the Oakhurst/Bass Lake area, look him up and tell him Baba or Moosie sent you. The dude is the best.
