John Harlin wrote this historical survey of RMNP in the Jan/Feb 1981 issue of Climbing. Pretty hard to beat the park for accessible quality alpine climbing.

I just got down from a conference in Estes Park, Steve, and
though I didn't get a chance to climb, seeing Lumpy Ridge,
Ypsilon and the Diamond got me salivatin'!!!!!
