I also like the term Mike Pennings sometimes uses to describe the protection on some Black Canyon routes. "Thoughtful"- if you hear those words from Mike, DO NOT go there.

sketchy= climbing "trad", with "runout" leads after getting "fueled", with some "noob", trying to "sandbag" the group, about some "spicy" "jingus" "heinous" "horror show", "spraying" about how "proud" you are for being "on the sharp end" with some "floss" for a "line"!
Peace

BAGALAAR: Defined as any situation deemed too F#$%@@ Up to warrent another word, such as "Rock will come DOWN!", or Dude the rope just got GINSU'd! Also may be used in FA probing in this context: Did you see that corner? Yeah, looks like it's Bagalaar gettin to it, through it, and fallin out of it! Or just to describe a particular individual who has a serious drinking/climbing problem...."YO He's so Bagalaar, every time he stands up he thinks he's in the middle of a Penji!"
All true, Use the word it throws the Euro's off!

Hard to beat Tom Patey's definition of noob (actually beginner):
someone (often dead) who should be kept away from the mountains at all costs.
Actually, it's rather hard to beat his definitions generally (see "The Greatest Show on Earth" in One Man's Mountains.)
