The rumors are true... Largo and Bullwinkle are coming to your town!
Our very own Bullwinkle (Dean Fidelman) and Largo (John Long) are going on the road to showcase Dean's outrageous photos from the Stonemasters era. And to make it even better, John will be reading his yarns of the people, events and mishaps that made up one of the truly great time periods in the Valley.
For those of you who have seen some of Dean's work or heard John tell his tales you know what this event will be like... for those who have wanted to to see the pics and hear the stories ... now is the time!
Dean's will be signing copies of his new book, "The Stonemasters" as well as posters.
You do NOT want to miss this!
We will also have artifacts from the Stonemasters on display.
Tickets are $12
There will be a gear raffle as well as a book and poster signing.
Tickets are available NOW for the following cities:

Tahoe show instead of Sacramento?
Most of the Sacramento climbers are at Tahoe/The Leap on weekends anyhow, as are the Reno climbers.
The recent Bachar and Lynn Hill slide shows drew decent crowds at the new gym in Incline Village.
Just a thought from someone on the other side of the summit.

Bite me, wolfboy the BA is a state of more sig than your spud realm, ( I think that's part of why you're so defensive, can't blame you, frankly) and we need a show! One here will draw more folks than your's and your surrounding states, collectively. STFU and throw spuds at the large dogs that appear as wolves to you in your dementia, already! It's cool, we'll take up a collection for ya!

It's a date, fatty!
We're not that sensative, Rox, It's just that it's hard not throwing the bait to such an easy wind up as yourself. You'd do it if you could, you know it!!
I don' get the shoe thing either, unless it's inked in lightning bolt humor.

Okay, I've had a night's sleep so let's see if I can address some of the geographical issues.
1. Love it or not, California is a big state with a big population and plenty of climbers. One or two shows was just not gonna cut it.
2. There is a show planned for NorCal... it looks like it will be in Redding. I think Bates is even going to drive the circuitous path just to make it there!
3. Planning this tour is not an easy task. I need to look at venues of the right size available on the right date at the right price in a town with sufficient climber/outdoor enthusiast population. As each new one comes together you lads and lasses will be the first to know!
4. The show will come to Texas and beyond! Some of you may need to wait until closer to Christmas because this country of ours is huge.
5. Canada is happening too so don't fret north of the border. Bullwinkle may phone those in but Largo will be spinning in person.
6. For the European crowd I am already working the venues/cities/logistics. Plan on late winter or early spring.
7. Anyone with venue ideas east of the Rockies or in other countries is welcome to send me a message.
8. While we want to come to everyone's house and enjoy your hospitality please be willing to drive a few extra minutes to see the show of a lifetime.
10. As each show gets closer I will post a new thread specific to that show so if you are strapped for $12 now perhaps you will be better off nearer the date. Otherwise, don't kick yourself when these shows sell out. Get the tickets and nail 'em to the fridge with a giant, "Go climb A Rock!" magnet.
11. If you think you have seen all of the Stonemasters' shots that are worth seeing... you are WRONG! Bullwinkle has a vast depository (not a suppository) of gems that are nothing short of awesome.
12. You got questions? I got answers... just drop me a line!
EDIT: Regarding the Bay Area and why Los Altos and not Oakland/SF/Berkeley... again, it is the task of finding a venue big enough to hold all the Bay Area climbers at a price that doesn't suck. The Smithwick Theatre on the Foothills College campus is a beautiful, huge theatre that will give us a grand performance. Come on, drive for 45 minutes! Car pool! Swim the Bay and hitch from Alviso. If you want a private show in your living room I can arrange it, but the tickets will be a tad higher than $12...

Actually, Roger... The show in Durango will probably be filmed so I will work with Dean & John to see what we can do with that.
I want to make sure there isn't a man, woman or child alive that has not experienced the Stonemasters!

I will definitely catch the show, got my man fatty to drive!
But why no real Norcal venues? Are the potential sponsers sissies?
That really is your audience! Redding is the redneck southside of oregon, Fresno is Fresno, Los altos is key to some number punchers. The bay area (for now let's say Berkeley, Oakland, SF) houses Stecks, Schnieders, Yerians, Cap'n caveman, et al , and has killer venues, WTF?
