It starts in Matt's Van. No Heat and the wind blowing from behind us. The VW van named Baby is sprinting with this favorable wind and we vibrate as we hit 80mph. Jackets, hats, gloves, but we see sunshine ahead over Moab. We pass the crowds at all the typical walls and open the gate down towards 2nd meat wall. The sun blasts on us and we remember how good this all feels. A friend shows up and we climb until dusk without a crowd. Dinner of old pizza and some beer the next day we find scarface wall empty so we indulge. Soon its getting dark and once again we are in the van bundled up and drafting on I-70 behind a semi. The driver flashes his brakes and I wonder when Matt will give up the ghost and pull back from our space 5 feet from his bumper.

Two days of work. Each day I go home early because I am just done with it. On the second day I pack a few things and pack into Abbie's truck with Dan. 12 hours later we drive around Hueco Tank's dirt road looking for our friend's property. We pass every type of shabby housing, military looking Compounds, Razor wire, agave, and the stars. Abbie has been hired by the climbing festival to perform some fire acrobatics for the post competition party. We wake up not so early and climb north mountain all day.

Abbie Does some practice at the car and later we get a private show of whats to come the following night.

The next day we continue our exploration of North Mountain.

Back at camp we wait for the sun to set and head over to the Ranch and the fun begins as well as the belligerence.

Drunk Jamming.

Someone starts DJing and it all dissolves and becomes blurry leaving the fire as the only focal point that burns retention of time into my mind.

The next day was a rest day and we of course crossed over. What happens in Mexico, and for that matter Hueco tanks, Stays there.
Once again we drive and drive. Tuesday I go back to work and leave early because I am just Done.
