Anyone who wants the nascent index of 'classic' threads, let me know. Some of them may be bumpable, too. I had to cease work late last year, but hope to resume soon, and will add those that Ed bumped which I didn't have. I'd gone through most threads that had a last post between June 2006 and late 2007, with many others caught by interlinking. I was up to about 500 good threads, somewhat organized. Most but not all climbing related.

Of course, I guess I should also do some more work on that Squamish history thread. It is quite grey and rainy in Vancouver from October to March.

Bump for the bump!

Anders: Many of us would be not at all displeased if you and others kept the onslaught of great climbing threads going...

Bump for all the effort you guys are putting into quality not quantity. My wife is a little pissed that I've been on the puter so much lately. She has shoes to find.

Ed started it all, though Mungeclimber did make a vain attempt to do some bumping about two weeks pre-election. Anyway, once Ed began I sent him my list, which he's maybe found useful, and I've sent it to one or two others. Lynne did some bumping when she got it. I haven't actually been doing any bumping myself, just aiding and abetting a bit.

How about some bumping for the Largo Stonemasters stuff - there were quite a few if I recall...

There's been a noticeable rise in quality content on the front page as a result. Props to Ed and MH for starting things up.

They need help though to keep building on good threads, or starting new ones -- else the fp soon reverts to LEB.

Kudos for restoring the climbing content, Ed and Anders. Roy was recently complaining that the best was past on the ST but lo and behold, the old timers come roaring back! Community takes effort.......thanks for yours.
