how annoying is that! Booked my return flight home for the 25th of Sept a while ago! DOH! Cheap flight and all, hence no rebooking!
Sorry Might Hiker, would have loved to help out! Just came a couple of weeks too late, after I had already booked my flights! Ah well......another time then. But congrats on helping a great cause!
cheers

i'm tentatively planning on showing up out there the weekend before, and hopefully get up and off something before wednesday...i saw there might be free earlier camping for those working to help clean up ? sign up required ? or am i mistaken, and that's just for the actual event ?...

By my count, 27, including the maybes. A good start. There are a few others who are too shy to post publicly, but will be there. As we have up to 100 places at Yellow Pines on the 25th, there's still room.
Now we just have to figure out what we're doing as a group. Camping at Yellow Pines on the 25th/26th, and a sushifest (or equivalent) and party on the evening of the 25th, seem set. Hopefully Chicken Skinner can post something about camping the other nights, and general arrangements for those helping at the Facelift (park admission, camping). Then there's possible pancake breakfasts one or more other mornings. Doing Facelift projects in smaller SuperTopo groups also makes sense. What else?

T*R: If EKat and Mark push your truck off a cliff at the Facelift, then we'll just have to clean it up afterward. Chicken Skinner won't be impressed.

Hello everybody,
The camping situation is as follows. September 25th we have the whole Yellow Pines Campground for 100 people. September 26-30 we have Yellow Pines sites A and B for 50 people. September 26-30 we have 6 sites in Camp 4 for 56 people though I don't have the site numbers yet. I should have this information soon.
If you are going to commit, email me and I will put you on the list and verify your site number. I need to have your name, which nights you want to stay, which campground you prefer, and how many in your party. I am going to be booking the sites, please make sure I have this information, it is a lot easier on me. The first people to do this will get the sites until they have filled up. My email is yager@inreach.com.
Lets hear it for Mighty Hiker. Thanks for your help Anders.
