This was so tough, I had to choose two... both of the same guy.
This is Conner soloing Hailstone Arete (5.9) on Mt. St. Helena the other day, north of the Bay Area. The clouds parted mid-climb, it was amazing.
This is Conner soloing Oberman's Roof (11.b/c) on top of Mt. Tamalpais in the Bay Area. When his feet cut I almost pooped my pants... but the guy is a showman.

Here's one of my faves......My buddy Macronut approaching the U-Notch as sunlight creeps on us, revealing the route ahead of us, the chill in the air and the hunter approaching his query, mid-stride in nice lighting.

I'm partial to Jody's shot of Croft and Gill, as I was out there that day. We moved up the trench to a chossy little problem not wanting to show them fellows up or anything. ;)
One pic I'm pretty proud of, but really the stone does all the talking and John did all the hard work climbing it...

Neat stuff. Keep them politards on the run! Hey, Weekend, when did "Oberman"--we always called it "Obermeier" move up to 11b/c? We used to rate that shiz 10d. I only top-roped it, of course. Crazy solo.

BAd - Mountain Project has it at 11b, and other places say b/c.. but if you know about the secret jug in the crack I'd definitely call it more like a mid 10 or so. Yeah either way he's a mad man! He soloed it 3 or 4 times while some buddies set up a highline nearby.
