I post how the election was stolen for John, and he can't get past "The RollingStone" issue of trust worthy for some reason.

No, I can't get past the lack of corroboration for the factual lapses in your story. The alleged theft of the election comes from a supposition that requiring people to vote in only one state deprives people of color of the right to vote. The Rolling Stone article made that leap of faith -- as did other critics of Crosscheck -- without providing evidence.

More importantly, since Rolling Stone has demonstrated its lack of fact-checking, I refuse to engage in the intellectual shortcut of taking their suppositions as fact.

In fact, the very nature of voting fraud leads to an absence of fact and a surplus of supposition. How do we measure something we can't detect? After all, if we catch someone committing voting fraud, their attempt to rig the election fails. It's those who get away with it that concern us, and, by definition, if they got away with it, how do we know they did it in the first place?

All of this brings me back to Crosscheck. If Crosscheck were truly stealing the votes you and its critics claim, where's the lawsuit stopping it? The Voting Rights Act isn't what makes such a scheme illegal. Any such scheme is illegal under the reasoning of Reynolds v. Sims and its progency. Invoking the changes in the Voting Rights Act as allowing a deprivation of votes under the terms of Crosscheck reminds of those who cite the repeal of Glass-Steagall prohibition of simultaneous engagement in investment and commercial banking as the cause of the housing bubble, but can't give a coherent explanation of how that might happen.

The left's narrative that anything that requires a voter to prove his or her identity deprives legitimate voters of their votes rests on religion, not fact and not logic.

As to why it happened.
Clintonian triangulation was a serious miscalculation.
If you butt your policies right up against Republicans, sounds good on paper. In practice this offers people a pretty small to non-existant economic/political policy preference which gets swamped by much stronger identity (religious, racial, sexual, social etc. etc.) preferences.

First Tweetler says Assange is a disgrace and should face the death penalty, then he says Assange knows more than 17 American intelligence agencies because Assange supports his ego.

He better be careful, the intel agencies could screw him 9 ways to Sunday, and Assange is a Russian puppet that will throw him under the bus anytime Putin pulls the strings.

Seriously, Trump is making things up on a minute-by-minute basis. He has no long term strategy. Probably why he bankrupted 6 businesses. I wonder who will bail him out this time?

Eventually, the blood of a lot of humans via the $$ of American taxpayers. Actually there might not be so much of a bail and more of a sacrifice. I know, this has happened many times throughout the history of the USA, but this time it is going to be yuuuuge...what will your children/grand children think or do to navigate the mess?

Why should we reward corporations who are making unprecedented profits with a lower tax rate that they usually avoid paying anyway?

Socialism for the rich

Rugged individualism for the poor

Get used to it.

As I said before, privatized profits and socialize losses. The rich make their own rules/laws.

Maybe, just maybe ,the best thing the spoiled brat from the Queens could do for this country is,stay TF out of the middle east.

All your arguments against any thing else is rather ,moot,in terms of cost.

Where is your contempt for the expansion of our failed foreign policy's for the last eight years?

I would love for us to get out of the Middle East. But I fail to understand how our actions over the last eight years can be completly ignored based on party affiliation

Thankfully I again did not vote. No point really imo

Yes .... this is true as intelligence comes from the soul .....

Of course. It's shortsighted to think anything different.

History is clear that deep money manipulates weak democracies to elect nationalistic populist strongmen to be the "front man" for their oligarchies.

Pence says Trump isn't accepting Russian involvement in hacking because of his healthy skepticism.

Thats bullsh#t. Trump already explained why he isn't accepting it without his vps bullsh#t.

He said that he has his own intelligence services - that he knows "things other people don't know." It's not that he's skeptical - it's that he has his own information that he believes more than he believes other people's information.

And he's gonna reveal that information to us later this week! He said "You'll find out on Tuesday or Wednesday." For sure! Just wait - It'll be huge! Like maybe he already did that today or yesterday, while we weren't looking.

You know, like he revealed how he was going to resolve his personal finances in a press conference on december 15. Remember. Or did he not hold that news conference? Oh heck, I've already forgotten.

Just trust him. He knows better than the intelligence community. He knows better than the climate scientists. Just drink the koolaid and pretend he already explained it in a way that makes sense.

But don't hold your breath waiting for him to actually explain it in a way that makes sense. He's counting on you forgetting that he said he would. Because when you're a celebrity, you can get away with stuff - grabbing them by the pu$$y or whatever.

Then you clearly thought wrong. Trump's election is an unprecedented descent into banality, criminality, opportunism, graft and sociopathy at levels never before seen on the American political stage.

I would have said the same thing about Clinton, which, of course, you deny is an even remotely legitimate (sane?) perspective. And, it's funny you mention "criminal" in particular. From my perspective, the facts are plain that Clinton IS a criminal and was on the brink of getting ELECTED in spite of "misdemeanors" far more egregious than what caused Nixon to RESIGN.

Strange world!

Well, then, I guess: bring on the civil war.

The huge difference between people like me and people like most of the libs posting here is that I can honestly imagine why you would think Trump worse than Clinton (although I vehemently disagree), while the libs here HONESTLY think that people who don't agree with them are IDIOTS and worse.

People like me can get along with people like you, but the reverse seems not to be the case.

Since your side seems bound and determined to riot in the streets until you escalate this disagreement into a full-blown "incident," I guess I'm glad that "my side" is more armed and trained-in-use than "your side." LOL

So, the "answer" is simply: Keep your riots away from me and mine. Loudly decry them in the same way you would have if our "sides" had been reverse in the outcome.

Who pushed for a surge? That probably cost as much as Obama care.

How was he going to get us out of there?

The MIC would not let him,Let us see if Trump could stand up to them.

This is real, those faux wars and the public's entrenched fear of terror[which is yet to exceed traffic fatals]has cost us a hell of a lot more than what ,pie in the sky Bernie, promised.

Bottom line,we could do a lot better, but,we will not.

Stay on the fence,it is a good position for one who does not care

Russian involvement in hacking

Which, even IF it were so, would only have REVEALED facts about how evil and corrupt the DNC (and its lackey, Clinton) REALLY ARE.

The hacking (whoever did it) did not CREATE facts! It only revealed truths that the American people should have been able to know prior to the election.

So, IF the hacking had ANY effect (which it's difficult to demonstrate that it did), it's effect was ONLY to give Americans more actual facts upon which to decide their vote.

You can't escape the facts: EVEN TRUMP beat the polished turd. Had the DNC been reasonable, sensible, and exhibited basic integrity, the left would have won this election. You really have ONLY the DNC (and Clinton herself) to blame for the effects you are now moaning about.
