Doubt it. Search more carefully. Cats hide things.

Thanks Gnome...good ideas
Ken M,
I was right there while she was playing with it at the table. I could hear her batting it around on the table I was sitting at while I was finishing some notes on a new song. Then silence. Then I see no pick. I looked all over the surrounding area for any sign of this pick and it's gone. Must be in her tummy.
Good Idea with the D&M music Norton. I think we have that on CD somewhere around the house.
Great pun Clinker. :)
I'm sure it will pass one way or the other, but she's so small. If I were a parent, and this were my child I'd be less concerned because I remember swallowing coins myself as a kid and, well, I'm still around.

I have plenty of pics. Mostly the 'big stubby' ones that are too big for a cat to swallow.
Definitely not missing the pick, but appreciate the humor.

Originally catgut was what they made guitar and violin and all stringed instruments strings out of. So I would say theres a good chance of this all ending on a good note.

Thanks for bumping the appropriate thread Gnome.

Quoting my Original Post, below...
I can't believe my cat, Gracie. She just swallowed my guitar pick after playing with it on the table. I guess this is what I get for writing an illegal song.
This picture should give you an idea of the size (a small jazz/speed pick).
It's the pick on the left.
I tried 2 tsp of hydrogen peroxide and am waiting for her to vomit.
The vet is not open today.
Just thought I'd throw this out there to TacoLand to get some advice.
--edit--: hydrogen peroxide 3% to induce vomiting
1 tsp / 5 lbs cat weight
