It is tough, when a company that produces in the US can no longer viably do so. I have no idea about the type of goods you reference Bluering, but for most things manufactured, it's not enough to merely BE Made in the USA. If something can be reasonably manufactured in a country where labor costs make the price factor too great a difference, buyers will go for the lower priced product. Pretty much every time.
International Trade is extremely complex.

Exactly. One thing that many consumers dn't understand is the cost incurred by European Union countries too. Companies that met all US standards of compliance had to deal with new Green bullshit regs from the EU that involved very expensive CE/TUV certification.
This killed some companies. Some say this killed us too. The pro-audio industry should have been exempted from this bullsh#t, if it wasn't thrown out all together.
The Green as#@&%es have no idea how much damage they're done to people, in the guise of saving a world that will kill them before the 'save it'.

Part of the reason the US "went overseas" in the first place was because manufacturers could pollute with impunity, whereas we were beginning to understand the devastating effects of dumping toxins into our lands and waters here at home.
Now Trump thinks it's as simple as saying the word and manufacturing will be back. Riiiight. Of course, if we can only overturn all those pesky regulations that disallow our corporations to poison low income regions, that will be a big help.

They went overseas because of corporate tax-rates, and yes, EPA over-regulation. The EPA needs to be gutted and re-evaulated, it has become politicized.

Everybody wants clean water and healthy environments. Everybody. We have the technology to do everything China does cleanly. Here.
It's a matter of will. Everybody was making money on outsourcing, why not make America profitable and clean simultaneously. WE CAN DO THIS!!!
