Yeah, Mooser...George wanted to be called T-Bone but they called him Koko the monkey instead. Kinda fits with the 'you don't come up with your own nickname bit'.
Jaybro - sounds like the "off-width machine" fits you nicely. Jeez, if I do 3 offwidths in a decade anymore I'm happy. I can't find anyone who ever wants to do them.

A buddy of mine gave me the nickname 'Johny 8 Iron"
I wish I could say it was because I killed two mafia guys in Chicago with a golf club, but the truth was I always hit that club off the tee. Old lady golf ,,, two eight irons, a sand wedge, and two putt.

Does anyone remember a guy whose nickname was “The Hand”?
This guy had one normal hand and one hand that was as big a catcher’s mitt. Used to see him around stoney point, JTree and the valley.

I was just remembering the Hand today in fact.
At one point, he lived in a shack near the mouth of Eldorado canyon.
