I'll get you a copy for $200, but I charge $100 finder's fee on top of that. See how it works?

I picked up a copy at the gear co-op screening of the Reel rock tour last week for $50. It is a numbered and signed copy. Check with the gear coop in Costa Mesa.

Stonemastger Press was only set up to do a few art books: The Stonemasters; the Valley Revolution; and the Stone Nudes book. Since there is really no market for 60 dollar books, it was never a sustainable project but we got a few great collector item books out of it and won a bunch of awards because nobody can really compete with books that are made that way (sparing nothing). Sometime in the future we might release those titles in affordable ($28 or thereabouts is a wild guess) paperbacks but right now we (Mike, Dean and I) are all swamped with other work.

I don't even have a copy of the The Stonemaser book. Those things are getting rare.

Sounds like a little supply/demand thing working here, Dean?

I got one from Dean at the Oakdale Fest but he said they would be gone soon and no current plans to print more. I hope you get one. The Yabo chapter was the best.

I did have some for sale but I'm out now, I've a few left for John who's been bugging me for some. Patagonia does have them at a few stores here and there, no second printing in sight at the moment. df

That sounds like a good book. Would be interesting to see how climbers back then used to deal with dinosaurs hunting in the cliffy areas and all the omens like comets, eclipses, and harvest moons. Did it freak them out? Did they climb harder because they knew the end was near? What were their caves like then as compared to now?
Did crag hags exist or is that a recent phenomenon?
I need a copy
