Well, I gained a sh#t ton of weight after I got out of the Army and got myself completely out of shape. doubt I could run a mile without dying. whats worse is that I'm down here in the Bay Area so I'm not even acclimated to elevation anymore.
so who wants to go climbing? At least my harness fits still (god I love Yates) and I have my shoes. Something super light duty (5-easy).
lol, thanks!

Shoot me an email - I could meet you mid-week at PGSF for some top-roping.
We can discuss the LEB obsession ad nauseam. ;-)

Rokjox and Pate both want photos,
what a bunch of strokers, two pees in a pod
They are to stupid just to press her profile and look at her photos.
She actually has a really good photo there showing Rokjox and Pate's IQ

A ton of weight???
Shes former military, something of an exercise freak, and a woman.
My guess is that translates to about 3 pounds. haha..
I hope you find someone to take you climbing Michelle.

Hey Pate,
People post photos in their profile so others can view them.
Do you actually know how to navigate the page.
Here's another moron stalker tip (actually like that)
If you press the blue number of total posts at the right of each thread it will take you directly to the last page (poof)
Girls really like that kind of humor that you and RJ exhibit.

^that, my friends, is sarcasm :)
As of last night I've lost 50lbs since December 15th. Work hard. Work hard, every day. Rest because you have to, not because you want to. Listen to your body. Eat healthy - many, many fruits and vegetables. 75 grams of protein, per day - minimum. Start to notice the difference in how you feel when you eat healthy.
Every workout, whether its a walk or a run or a hike or climbing, every time - warm up 10 minutes @ 60% max heart rate (your age minus 220 = max HR), stretch well. Pushing yourself is the rule, not the exception. Eating unhealthy is PUNISHING - your next workout will be that much harder if you are trying to digest processed foods.
Drink water, 3 liters a day. Always keep it on you. I used to chew sugarfree gum so I would kill the habit of eating because I had conditioned my body to eat more than it should.
Set a goal that all this training is for. If you don't have a goal and are tired after work, that hike might happen. If you set a goal, you will think "I have X more days until my goal and I'm not where I need to be to make it a reality - I NEED to workout, I NEED to complete it."
A good goal? You are in the bay area, I suggest a BIG valley day hike. Set yourself a goal to do something that is out of the realm of possibility NOW. Hike clouds rest by October 10th, from the valley. The harder you train, the more chance you give that goal of coming to fruition.
Promote mental health through confidence and the ability to see difficult things through, self control will have new meaning.
I could go all day on this :)
There is no ego, there is no shame, there is no pride. Look at everything objectively - yourself, and what you do. You are no different now than when you were in the best shape of your life. Make it a reality through hard work, it will be earned and it will be for the rest of your life.
The most important thing I have right now is my piece of mind.
Unhappy version of me

wow, super thanks super taco people!
Gdavis - thats awesome dude! I've already started changing my diet. no more mcdonalds for me and mostly just salads and veggies. coffe black, etc. I forgot to mention that I have a ton of pain in my hip and the xrays say I have bone spurs on the femoral head. MRI to follow in August. So walking is painful. strangly, going up stairs or off road doesnt hurt. I'm going to get a snazzy spinning exercise bike and that will help too.
donini - there was never any doubt!
detractors/idiots - dating site? really? can't you come up with something better than that? you're light. I've been here since the era of no registration and have seen much better attempts at jokes than that. carry on privates.
Moosie - haha, could be true but sadly not 3 pounds. try 70. I'm carrying the equivalent of a wall rack around.
Klaus-ee-poo! Thats ok, I wouldn't want to trust that antique gear of yours anyways!
so thanks again people for the invites and the response. I'm finally getting out of this crappy depression and feelin' pretty darn good. got a great apt, subaru that rocks and 2 little fuzzy cat friends. juest need to get off my ass now and see whats up around here in the Bay Area since I'm not planning on moving back up to Tuolumne county anytime soon.
