just got the new Xfinity service connected...
download speeds: 3.67 Mpbs, upload speed 3.28 Mbps
more than a factor of 2 increase in upload.... that's nice!
and download is about 27% faster... which seems noticeable...
these are still via Airport...
ok, I'm all over the place with the download... here's the best so far...

Damn!!! I wish I had the speed Apple does!
This is fast enough though:
I don't get how people are embedding the image straight from speedtest? I used to be able to do that but can't get it to work since ST started allowing images to be stored on their site.

Tami, the reason for that, I suspect being the answer is that after clicking on the thread the first time, they surf somewhere to plunder their own gazonga pic, find the first one on the search--and, j-u-s-t k-e-e-p l-o-o-k-i-n-g !-!-!-! 1-1-1-1

OK! I switched from Satellite to Verizon Wireless Myfi 2200 a couple months back.
Knew Verizon was way faster, but had not done the test till now.
Night and day difference, and less money.
2.22 mb down, .63 mb up.
Previously .46 mb down and .04 up.

RJ, both of those runs are over your ISP's claimed speed:
3735/1024 = 3.647 Mb/s
