I can't stop laughing at the Finland characters, and it is especially perfect that they have no speaking lines. My wife is a Swedish Finn - she would need a cartoon that looks like Sister Sweden but armed with a bottle and a puuku(knife).

Lolli finds another climbing site to spam with her USA hating bullsh#t...what a surprise. I've never seen her post anything "hating" of the US.
Pay attention and you'll see most of these cartoons make fun of Euros. And every Scandinavian country has been skewered.
Or do you find that some of the spears chucked at the US hit home? Is that what bothers you?

HighTraverse, than you did not see that anti-USA rant she had up on her summitpost.org profile. You did not see her make fun of US World War veterans, in a thread which was started for them. This is a very hateful, drama-producing person, in my opinion. And a very successful troll.

Our family has waterskied since I was 9. We have taught hundreds of people to ski, a few who went on to compete internationally. One group we've never been able to teach is anyone of Italian descent. I don't know why, and there are probably plenty of Italians who can ski, but I've not taught one yet.
Once I was in Costco looking at the ski vests when a stranger struck up a conversation about how he'd never been able to get up on skis. I asked him if he was Italian. "Yes! Why do you ask?" He had a good laugh about the saga. I hope he eventually learned...

Perhaps Vitaliy, if he's Russian (the name is), is still upset about the Great Northern War with Sweden, even though Russia eventually more or less won. (And the naughty Norwegians killed the Swedish king.)

Survival..What do I climb??? What does it have to do with me getting annoyed with the thread? I do not like stereotypes, especially when they come out from a person whose history I am aware of.
This past weekend I climbed ice in Lee Vining, weekend before did a winter ascent of a classic East Arete of Carl Heller (which may be a first winter ascent of that classic route btw)...will put out a trip report about Carl Heller some time soon, was a nice trip.

I do not post any personal attacks here, do I? Did I offend ANYONE? Just saying I do not like stereotypes. People did not like you (on SP) due to you posting garbage about American veterans and due to that anti-USA rant in your profile. But OK, let's leave this on SP.
PS: I remember you were all for "Jews leaving Israel," I am surprised you didn't post a photo of that 'greedy Jew' stereotype yet...I guess maybe in future.

Then stop being a stereotypical internet stalker, and don't click on a thread with a f$%^@ing title that says "Stereotypes". That way it won't upset your delicate sensibilities.
This stuff is cracking me up, and I only know a few people from the region...but the types do fit them.

I think this stuff is very funny after marrying a Scandinavian girl and spending a lot of time over there. My Fennoswede wife also enjoyed them.
