Hey there, I've been a long time lurker in here and understand the "issues" Russ can have with replying to emails/phone calls...whatever. He makes good shite, and we can put up with the longer waiting times....

However, we have spent several weeks emailing and left a couple of messages..no reply?

Russ, are you out there?

Nick

(I just realized my name has a strange similarity to Russ's nickname...Im not a weird stalker....)

fish are usually found in bodies of water, sometimes in aquariums.

The Fish is often found near 29 Palms.

[quote]Hey FishFace, don't ever email me again. For any reason. Or any kind of communication. I don't want to know you or talk to you. If I see you anywhere near me I will assume it it to inflict violence and respond accordingly as if my life is in jeopardy. You won't want to be there, so best just back off and leave me be.

There should be a Rip On Russ webpage somewhere - - - where people who are clueless can hook up with Facebook pages and Twitter, and spend all their time.

Russ may not behave like a big company, and it's because he's not. If you want the best, you go to him. If you want something available at a retail store, go there.

The proper analogy is this:

If you want a surfboard, you can go to a store in a mall, and buy one. But, if you want to take on the really big waves, you will need a Big Wave Gun, a specialized board that is not for sale in any store, mall or thriftmart. You will have to ask the maker of the Big Wave Gun to make a board for you, knowing that it is the only thing that is safe for the conditions of the October North Shore, Mavericks, Todas Santos or other BIG arenas.

I don't know how fast the Big Wave Gun makers work, or how fast you can get a board from them.

But, my guess is that their modus operandi is very similar to how Russ does things.

So, stop whining and complaining. Either make it yourself, make due with something inferior, or STFU.

Russ hangs out on another forum. Jaybro knows which one. Don't google it at work.

Ah ha! At least I now who you are. I sent you a PM yesterday after I was alerted to this thread. I have NOT been getting any emails from you for a while (4 weeks?). Last couple I sent to you was to firm up a shipping date and adjusted shipping charges and delivery times, with no reply.

I'll send you another email address right now so we can get this sorted. Let me know via email if it works. Check your Supertopo address too.

Thanks for the Granite grey webbing, Russ. It'll go to good use.

Mucci, I already told kev this, but you guys are welcome to some of this webbing to clean up tat-littered belays with more subtly colored webbing that is less noticeable.

I bought it expressly for this purpose. NO MORE RAINBOW TAT AT BELAYS!
